Halloween

We had a terrific Halloween Day! We went trick or treating in the morning and had a great party in the afternoon. Thanks to everyone who sent treats! We had so many treats that we will be partying the rest of the week on the leftover snacks.

Johnson's Farm

Watch Us in Action

This week we enjoyed the story The Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything. Angel, Hunter, Joseph, and Andrew enjoy reading the story together. See Haley as she removes pumpkin seeds. Hunter and I give our pumpkin some silly eyebrows!

Visit from Sequatchie County Meth Taskforce

We had a visit from the Sequatchie County Meth Taskforce today. Officers talked about "good" drugs that the doctor gives us to make us better when we are sick and "bad" drugs that we should never take. After the program we were invited outside where we saw the "Meth Truck" and some of the student tried on a mask used to help protect policemen as they clean-up the hazardous material used in making Meth. The Story of Mrs. Wishy Washy

Mrs. Wishy Washy doesnt't let those animals play in the mud on her farm! "Into the tub you goes!"

Painting Pumpkins

Today we stuffed paper bags and painted them to resemble pumpkins. As we painted we reviewed how pumpkins grow.

Happy Birthday Kaitlin

Today we celebrated Kaitlin's birthday with yummy chocolate cake. Kaitlin's B-Day was October 18th. Kaitlin has a big sister, Paige and a big brother, Colby. Happy 5th birthday Kaitlin!

Fall Break

Hope you all had a wonderful fall break. Ms. Bev and I went on a bear hunt to the Smokey Mountains. We didn't see any bear but we did see the beautiful colors of fall.

Fire Prevention Week

This week was fire prevention week. We practiced fire, tornado, and intruder drills on Friday. Also on Friday, we were visited by the Dunlap Volunteer Fire Department. We practiced "Stop, Drop, and Roll" and read Clifford the Firehouse Dog. Check us out in action as we squirt the fire hose.
