Stone Soup





















To finish up our study of healthy foods, we read the book Stone Soup. The story is about three soldiers who trick some villagers into cooking them a pot of soup.

Making Pancakes and Pizzas

As you might have guessed this week we were all about the letter Pp! The students enjoyed learning about the letter Pp through books such as If You Give a Pig a Pancake and Pete's a Pizza. We had a great time making pancakes on Tuesday and pizza on Thursday!

The Little Red Hen




We enjoyed a puppet show about the Little Red Hen and made cornbread on Wednesday! We asked the children if they would help and they all said, "yes!"

K-9 Unit Visits!




Officer Dennis and Victor came to our classroom today to talk to the class about drug safety. Victor has a college degree in pharmaceuticals and is only 2 years old. Victor came from Belgium. Officer Dennis takes care of Victor like he is his son. Victor sleeps at the foot of Officer Dennis’s bed and even steals the covers from him.
