The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and the Big Hungry Bear
I was at Save-a-Lot and saw some beautiful strawberries and that made me think of an old story-The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear. We had so much fun making strawberry pie. Each child did their part from washing the strawberries to putting on the whipped cream. In the story the mouse is afraid that a big, hungry bear will steal his strawberry. The students were very surprised when our pie came up missing and the bear left us a note saying - Thank you for the pie. It was yummy! We did get our pie back an
d it was wonderful!

The Giant Jam Sandwich
Today we learned about bees and wasp and read the story The Giant Jam Sandwich. Of course we had to have a jam sandwich snack!

Circus Fun!
We spent two weeks learning about the circus and the zoo. Yes, that is a circus tent inside our classroom! Wrapped up our unit with a fun carnival complete with games and food!
